Analyzing a painting entails comparing some aspects of it with the same aspects found in the recorded works by the artist.

•   How much or how little contrast there is
•   How realistic the depiction is

Ultimately, a detailed analysis performed by an experienced authentication specialist will demonstrate whether the painting under consideration was created by the same artist.
