Paintings, drawings, sculptures and other works of art can be authenticated in many different ways. There are approximately 20 methods for showing that an artwork is authentic.

Ordinarily, only a few authentication avenues are relevant for each artwork and the circumstances surrounding it.

The first task we perform – free of charge – is determining HOW your artwork can be authenticated. This will ascertain whether we may want to examine it physically, if tests of materials will be needed, what kind of photos we may require, if research will be necessary, and where these different investigations will need to take place.

We handle authentications as efficiently as possible. Some are done in a few days, most are completed in two to three weeks, some take longer, and the most extremely difficult cases can take several months.

We quickly respond to emergencies. A good example is when a client needs a quick answer because they have a buying opportunity or a deadline to submit a refund. In such instances we respond and help immediately.
